I was walking down my street today, headphones in and scrolling through play lists. It was about 5:30p and high time for traffic with cars as far as I could see just stopped, waiting.

As I hit play and the music started, it was so loud it literally made me jump straight in the air (both feet off the ground). I immediately giggled and looked over at traffic. It appeared no one saw me, but as I kept walking, a dude a few cars down smiled and nodded in that sort of we-just-shared-a-moment kind of way.

Yay for laughing at yourself and sharing moments with strangers.
