We had a Guerrilla Gardening mission tonight and about half way through, the owner of the Liquor Store right next to our spot came out to introduce himself.
He noticed a few of us had purchased a beer to quench our thirst and he immediately said..."You guys don't need to buy beer...let me treat you. What are you drinking? I'll bring out a 12pack."
And he did. And he promised to buy a hose tomorrow so he could help us water and maintain the garden.
His name is Carlos. And he truly, truly made my day today.
Wow....you'd expect this is a town in midwest, but not LA! Just goes to show that what you guys are doing is being noticed and it's appreciated by the ones that count.
