On my way home from work today, I knew I had a long night ahead of me and was craving some caffeine. Decided I'd stop somewhere for a coffee.
I prefer mom and pop shops as opposed to Coffee Bean or Starbucks, but when I turned the corner and saw the DRIVE-THRU Starbucks just before the freeway, it was like the heavens were shining down on upon it. Getting out of my car was going to be entirely too much effort and the nice girl behind the microphone made it worth it.
"Welcome to Starbucks in Valencia, we're so glad you're here, hope you're having a great day, what can I get for you this lovely evening?"
Wow. Does she have to say that every time?! Impressive.
